Hi, I’m Jardell - the creator behind Jardell Hill Design.

​I have always been creative - growing up I was happiest when I had a pencil, paintbrush, or camera in my hand! At school my favourite subjects were art, drama, and history. Basically all ways of telling a story really and that love for expression never left me.

​

Later on I studied Textile Design at Heriot Watt University tucked away in the Scottish Borders. This is where I fell in love with the world of print and pattern and seeing how a single illustration could be brought to life. 

​

An exchange semester in Finland deepened my appreciation for slow, thoughtful design and opened my eyes to the power of colour.

In my final year, I was honoured with an award for Best Use of Colour, from the Worshipful Company of Dyers of London and later showcased my work in London where I was spotted as 'New Talent' for the Surface Design Show.

​

Today, I’m based in my home studio just outside Edinburgh, creating luxury wallpapers and homewares that bring art, storytelling and a sense of place into your space. 

Whether it’s a bespoke project or a print from one of my collections, every piece starts with a hand-drawn sketch by me!

CREATIVE

Jardell's main goal is to design patterns and products that are unique yet sophisticated. 
Each design is originally hand drawn and later developed into patterns by Jardell herself. 

CONSIDERATE

The environmental impact of the design process has been carefully considered and steps have been taken to reduce this as much as possible.

QUALITY

Only the finest materials are sourced and modern digital printing methods are used to ensure the best possible detail is achieved, using highly reputable printers in the UK.
